弱冠20代にして'70年代のウエストコースト・ロックの影響を感じさせ、素朴かつ洗練されたアコースティックサウンドと美しいコーラスワークを持ち味とする、たけとんぼ。
2022年に待望の1stアルバムを曽我部恵一（サニーデイ・サービス）が主宰する「ROSE RECORDS」からリリースを果たし、代官山・晴れたら空に豆まいてにて開催された1stアルバのムレコ発イベントはソールドアウト。
その後、各地へアコースティック編成でツアーを回るなど精力的な活動を展開している彼らが、手作り制作・数量限定で販売していたカセットシングル２タイトルをNEVER SLEEPからまとめて再販決定。
2曲入りシングルだった作品に、DLコード特典音源と未発表音源を新しく加え4曲収録とボリュームアップ。

ボーカル平松が"自分をあらわす曲"と称し、焦りと寂しさを歌う曲「春はまだか」元・たけとんぼDrきむら作、メランコリックな曲調の「心の風」exバレーボウイズ、シュウタネギから貰い受けた「旅の前」ライブの定番曲、いつかどこかへ消えてゆく誰かに宛てた讃歌「花束」全4曲を収録。
